An Evening of Exuberance:
Wine, the Haven String Quartet and the New Haven Free Public Library

June 7, 2012
7:00 – 10:00
Main Library, 133 Elm Street

Join us for an exuberant evening to support the New Haven Free Public Library Foundation.

Taste youthful, passionate wines carefully selected by Mt. Carmel Wine and Spirits to prepare us for the exuberant works of musical geniuses Mozart, Mendelssohn and Benjamin Britten.  Music Haven’s Quartet-in-Residence, the Haven String Quartet, will perform pieces written by these wunderkinds who successfully mastered the art of string quartet composition during their teenage years.  Be inspired as New Haven’s own aspiring youth, the young poet winners of the NHFPL’s Poetry Contest, read their winning poems.  Finish the evening with dessert and complementing wines.

Come enjoy friends, wine, music and poetry in the beautiful Ives Main Library.  All proceeds will benefit the New Haven Free Public Library.

Ticket Price:  $50.00
